Exploring what is at your fingertips sometimes takes a bit of motivation. Most often you are not disappointed when you break from your normal routine. The Institute Of Contemporary Art/Boston is located along the waterfront. It showcases visual art exhibits, music, film, video and performances. They also offer fun kid/family activities and First Fridays for an evening of art and music. Yesterday, isostilo wanted to explore and it’s been a while since visiting the ICA. It was a fun outing with an unexpected Winter Harbor Market which included local vendors and yummy pop-ups topped off with holiday caroling from the Boston City Singers Children’s Choir. Meandering about the exhibits and enjoying the beautiful views of the harbor was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Check out their website and see what interests you. By the way, the ICA store is fantastic. A well curated selection of items as one would hope for. I was particularly impressed with the children’s selection. I’m thinking holiday gifts for my nieces and nephews. Enjoy your next outing to wherever you decide to explore.
