Evolve with Woolrich. A company with American roots is making a strong return. Meet a refreshing alternative and perhaps the happy medium between Canada Goose and Moncler. Both are very loved among city dwellers. Walk down the street and count them to see how common they have become. Hey I admit I’m in that camp. You can’t deny the quality of both brands. But I think it is a good time to consider other options if you are contemplating a new outerwear piece.
Woolrich, you have my attention with your stylish ways. Woolrich is dialing into an urban style with a cool, hip, and creative way. Just take a peek at their Fall/ Winter campaign called American Soul. This collaboration with Ms. Lauryn Hill has completely sold out. They have balanced their new creative shift in a direction without losing sight of their heritage. The iconic pattern, Buffalo Check remains strong. If you haven’t checked out their website recently you are missing out. Also their collaboration with Jeff Griffin from Loveland Farm is legit. Woolrich is defiantly worth exploring. Their prices do seem to reflect their new competitiveness.
Recently seen walking the runways at NYF. Daniëlle Cathari, a 23-year-old student designer from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute is collaborating with adidas. She is reconstructing the classic adidas track suit, adidas Originals, in a cool and sexy way. Two fashion DNAs joining forces will excite you as well as Kendall Jenner as the muse. Here is a behind the scenes clip. If you love it then sign up at adidas to stay updated. It drops, it sells out, and you pray for more!
Paris Fashion week could be one of isostilo’s favorite of the fashion weeks as far as street style is concerned. No rules applied! Pulling out all the stops and not holding back. Women flaunting their style. Personal style is delivered from bold to muted colors, oversized statement pieces, eye-catching ruffles, elongated sleeves, big cuffs, and layers of pleats. All the shades of green are hard to ignore. The knee socks and sneakers have me heading straight to Nike.
The range of fashion is great, wide, and unique. Everything you hope for with fashion week. I am a big fan of women blending feminine and masculine silhouettes. I love the longer skirt hems, fuller trousers at any length, the variety of footwear, to the statement accessories. Nothing is boring and the most subtle of styles is defiantly never not considered! The last image is my favorite. The 80’s influenced Vetements jacket is so flipping street chic cool especially paired with this ensemble. The skirt and red belt with a clip attachment is simply perfection. Sign me up for the whole look minus the heels (sneakerhead here).

Italy delivered some bold street style last week. Here our some isostilo’s favorites from Milan’s fashion week. Bright neon is winning my heart at the moment. Inspiration is off the chart. Time to let loose with your personal style. BTW add some green to your life. Totally respecting how it takes on different personalities in some of these images.
Street style during NYFW is when everyone brings their A game and magic to the streets. Street photography centered around fashion can keep me engrossed for hours flipping through insta and my favorite online sites. I have rounded up 25 street style photos that made me pause as I flipped through a couple hundred fab photos on Fashionista.
I am fascinated by individual style and the personalities that unfold though ones choices. Witnessing pattern and textures at play, bold and subtle accessories, the art of layering, the unexpected color combos, and the effortless way the these women wear their style just delights my eyes. Lets not ignore the hair styles long and short that are decorated with pops of bright colors and accents of hair clips. What I appreciate the most are the risk takers, the ones that own their style, and the ones that you can’t pin point exactly what you appreciate. The art of the personal style spin is what isostilo loves.
