Nili Lotan nails that tomboy edge while maintaining a clean and minimalist style. A look that catches my eye. Rock n roll, city life, and a certain sexiness is delivered each season. One must just be confident to rock it. It is all personal style. Having some edge and grit to your look is a good thing. Give me those loose-fitting cognac lambskin pants any day of the week. Absolutely killer! Nili Lotan is not known for the most approachable prices. This season each one of these pieces are ridiculous. But the fashion inspiration is fully appreciated! Take the shapes, lines, textures, style, effortless appeal, and run with it. Find your happy edge.
It is HOT these days and adding a few more caftans into the summer mix feels minimal! They are effortless and chic. Slide one over a swimsuit or a slip to give you an easy day to evening look. These particular caftans are from Two and are made in New York. A favorite of mine. I am never disappointed with their modern take on the simple caftan. They are made from hand woven textiles and Saris from India. Caftans are the perfect solution to dressing light and perfect for a summer getaway. I will say that Two is on the expensive side, but buy one and your cost per wear will prove to be in your favor by the end of the summer.
Hard to think about the Fall, but Céline Fall 18 has me weak at the knees. The oversized trousers and sweaters, the wide-ass-belt, and the leather dress speak to me on every level. The Neutral tones are classic and reflects a clean design. The pop of hot pink is sexy. I am a super fan of the oversized trouser that goes straight to the floor. Just walk on clouds from location to location to not dirty them (but maybe a little dirt would give them more grit). Swing the bucket bag all day long and right into evening. The ankle booties are ridiculous! Not wishing summer away but always fun to see what is in store. It is all in the details and need a few more 0s in my bank account:)

Madewell doesn’t need an introduction. They can really make your life easy with their stylish everyday pieces and reasonable prices. Here are five of my summer favorites off Net-A-Porter’s already well-edited selection . These are perfect for that weekend get away. BTW stripes and floral play off each other really well. Now just add your swimsuit, sun hat, slip ons, and tote. Off you go!
From time to time, I browse the COS website. They offer fresh classic silhouettes. I personally like their clean aesthetic. I have rounded up a few updated modern pieces for those sunny days.
Collapsing Neck Cocoon Top
Slim Short Sleeved Shirt
Ribbed Jersey Vest Top
Three basic and easy to wear tops. The white blouse has a sweet neckline but not too girly. The navy button down shirt is a slim fit with a bit of a longer sleeve that would look nice cuffed a couple of times for a casual out and about look. The basic tank needs no reason.
Wide Elastic Cotton Skirt
Handkerchief- Hem Poplin Skirt
A-Line-Wrap Over Skirt
Skirt With Folded Waist Band
Four perfect skirts that will take you from day to evening. The first white skirt is a lovely A line style with an unexpected side slit. The beige skirt sits on the hips with a feminine hem line that is oh so chic. The vibrant green skirt looks so crisp! Loving the last white skirt with its folded over waistband and straight fit. It is relaxed, casual, and weekend ready.
Sleeveless Jersey Jumpsuit
Belted Cotton Jumpsuit
The one and done way of dressing! Jumpsuits are no fuss and can be dressed up or down. An oversized blazer can instantly transform this casual day look straight into an evening out with friends.
images from COS. FYI all pieces are 100% cotton and prices don’t break the bank!
A dress for all you lovely ladies! I am so in love with color these days. Just take a peek at the ARoss Girl x Soler collaboration. It is one to dream about. Spotted on Net-A-Porter of course on this rainy day. These stunning dresses come with a price tag but I am certain you could come with a handful of reasons to warrant your purchase (think cost per wear). Then you will find yourself twirling in one over excitement. A midi length is not always the easiest to pull off but with the help of a block heel or neutral strappy sandal you are well on your way. The maxi just needs a sweet flat. These dresses are playful, colorful, pretty, feminine, and timeless. It is that one dress that would never need dusting off. So pretty! Bravo!!
Easy breezy shorts for summer. I love the idea of shorts but they must hit the sweet spot length. The hunt is over with Vince’s pleat front cotton shorts. They look crisp yet read casual and hit mid thigh. You can choose from three neutral tones. Keep your look relaxed during the day by pairing these with your favorite tee. For an evening look, add a loose-fitting blazer along with some fun earrings. A woven pair of sandals or sneakers to complete the look. (I am anxiously awaiting for these shorts to hit sale!)
